The straps themselves are contoured and padded to alleviate strain on the neck and shoulders, and can be connected across your chest with a sternum strap to help distribute the load evenly. The backpack has three large zippered compartments and three smaller zippered pockets. The first large compartment was designed to hold the hardshell platform with your laptop securely inside.
